Bear let Mr Kruger get away? Really?
mjingerson5 March 2016
Love the show, I am perplexed as to why it is having such a hard time to get a solid following. OK, well maybe with the direction the show took the past couple of years, maybe. Anyway, I have just watched this episode, Nothing to Hide, as a re-run and I paid particular attention to how Mr. Kruger escaped the safe house with Bear there. It didn't show that specifically, only eluded to the fact, that Bear did not let him leave without a fight, as slight as it may have been. With that being said, I have worked with Military K-9 teams (which according to the story line, that is Bear's back story) and I can assure you that this man would not have left unharmed (by Bear) and that Bear would still be alive and well. I realize this is Hollywood, but I think you just stepped into the realm of a Disney fairytale.

The Website to Locate People
claudio_carvalho27 February 2024
Carter meets Quinn at the cemetery while putting flowers at Beechers grave, and after a short discussion about his death, he calls someone and tells that Carter may be a problem. The Machine discloses to Finch the number of Wayne Kruger, who owns the company called Life Trace specialized in locate people through the information available in Internet. Shaw paired his phone in the elevator and sees how efficient he is in a business meeting to convince a new important client to join his company. Finch, Reese and Shaw find that several lawsuits against Kruger and his company by people that was damaged by the information provided by Life Trace have been resolved in the justice and disappeared from Internet. But soon Kruger's credit card is denied to pay for his wedding anniversary party. Reese and Shaw attend the party and someone replaces his video of celebration with his wife per one showing him having an affair with another woman. Then a comment Kruger made about the body of his assistant to his partner is leaked to her and she quits her job. An old DIU case when Kruger was a student is leaked to his partner and he is asked to leave the company by his partner and the board. While leaving the building, his elevator drops with him inside. He drives his car, but someone hacks his command and he loses control and flips the car. Reese brings him to his apartment, where Finch and Shaw are waiting for them. Finch has analyzed the lawsuit and believes Stu Sommers, who had his daughter killed by a stalker that had found her location in Kruger's site, is behind the recent events. Meanwhile Carter decided to move to the training area and a rookie is now under her command.

"Nothing to Hide" is an episode of "Person of Interest", where the owner of a website used to locate people based on the information available in Internet is the target. People generally expose their lives in social media and the man uses this type of information in his company. However, he has no care with the information and now someone is trying to destroy him. This episode is another good warning about the excessive exposition of the personal life in Internet. Bear is not the same anymore. My vote is eight.

Fantastic, current events relevant & suspenseful - as good as Films

Warning: Spoilers
Cavazeil (sp?) is outstanding -- what an impossible to remember and to spell name though .. he's a highly underrated actor ... this show feels like Star Trek Next Generation here on Earth ... the story lines are impeccable ... acting is not your familiar overly dramatic TV-fare ... though some of it is sometimes ... the budget looks good - though they can certainly use more money for special effects ... If you want to see a big budget TV Series - this suggestion will surprise you - but I'm addicted to Spanish channel's La Muncias de la Mafia (sp?) - it's English-subtitled .. and it's like watching Scarface all of again - but in lots more detail and lots bigger budvget .. both POI in English and La muncias Mafia are addictive .. La Muncias is better because of less censorship and the always better acting of the Spanish Celeb/Actresses ..;)
