Interesting but incomplete

Unlike the trilogy that we understood that wasn't planned in the first place, this piece of documentary about the process of making the best anti-hero reborn from ashes felt somehow incomplete.

The highlights include some very deeply statements of Guillermo del Toro and Michael Mann about the connection between cinema and audience own life, like Samuel Fuller said once. There's really amazing footage that alone makes this better than 60% of superhero movies. Plus behind the scenes cast with Cillian Murphy for Batman, among others, later picked for Crane.

I recommend this for anyone fan of Batman or superhero movies. If you just saw the movies and don't know trivia/technical stuff this is great.

Bottom line is the soundtrack, as for the theatrical movies, are pieces from Hans Zimmer (sometimes with James Newton Howard) and some outtakes as well. Zimmer is a composer that needs no introduction. But digging into all the parts all aspects of making Dark Knight without even mention the mastermind behind that feeling you get in your spine is outrageous. Particularly in Dark Knight Rises, which frankly is the worse of the 3 (like Godfather 3 - movie stated by some critic on the film) and yet you can see George Miller using the some of it's formula on Mad Max Fury Road.

So yes, this could have been a more complete documentary behind scenes/making off and personal C. Nolan vision. Or you could put your new modern quality headphones and listen "Imagine The Fire" and you will feel why Dark Knight was so special, instantly.
