The Top 50 hasn't host to introduce the music videos, and it hasn't opening or ending credits. It only broadcasts the music videos in countdown without pause or commercials but a brief channel ident promo each 20-30 minutes. In addition, it shows titles (solo singer/music band, song name and album name) at the start and ending of each one, and its number in the countdown.
Despite to be a Top 50 set in the 90s, it features two 80s songs/music videos: Chris Isaak: Blue Hotel (1987) and The Clash: Should I Stay or Should I Go (1982). Isaak's song was re-released in 1991, reaching No. 1 in France and UK, while The Clash's song was re-edited also in 1991 to coincide with the Levis television advert released a year prior. This new edition turned in the only one No. 1 of the band in the top charts.
Kim Appleby is featured twice in the countdown: Kim Appleby: Don't Worry (1990) and Kim Appleby: G.L.A.D. (1991).
Roxette is featured twice in the countdown: Roxette: Fading Like a Flower (Every Time You Leave) (1991) and Roxette: Joyride (1991).
The KLF is featured twice in the countdown: The KLF: 3AM Eternal (Version 1) (1991) and The KLF: Last Train to Trancentral (1991).
