Very very sad but full of questions case

Warning: Spoilers
It's really blizzare to think an unusual foreign man came into my country, without giving any hints to identify his true self and then makes a heartbreaking descision to drown himself on a beach where hardly anyone would see what he'd be doing. The reason why I found out about this 19 min documentary was the fact, recently the channel "Dark 5" did a video about "5 Suspicious Unsolved CCTV tapes" and shockingly this case was involved on that. I then Google searched the case and bam, this documentary appeared.

It was really interesting to hear the locals talking about their encounters with the man and how he reacted towards them. They were saying he was pretty quiet. I guess so that he doesn't give anything away about himself and why he's really here. After he was found dead, they noticed that he cut off the clothing tags that were on the clothes he was wearing and what he brought with him. Again that could be the fact, he doesn't want to give pointers about his true self and where he lives. Then another discovery was that the poor man had cancer and previous heart attacks. I suppose he knew he was in poor health so he thought this was the best way to be at peace. It's really upsetting.

I'm surprised his family hasn't come forward til this day to easily identify the man and the fact, the hotel didnt ask for proper ID instead of him telling his fake name/address. I mean his face photo is on Wikipedia and like why didnt the hotel report to the Gardai if he was acting this way with always bringing a purple bag to dump his personal belongings? So many questions in my head that I really can't seem to get an answer to.

May the man rest in peace <\3
