Before getting out of the business of producing scripted content, Cinemax's lineup of shows was truly phenomenal.
The network brought great shows like Strikeback, Warrior (now on Max), and Banshee to life.
These shows were well-written, with great characters and stories. The action was top-tier, making action buffs weak on the knees with every sequence.
Banshee's narrative, storyline, direction, and enigmatic characters stood out. The show is one of the most underrated shows from the 2010s.
After seeing its lead male actor's phenomenal skills in a currently airing show, I was compelled to check up on the cast and see what they've been up to in the years since the show ended.

Mark Margolis, a veteran actor with hundreds of credits dating back to the 1970s but perhaps best known for his Emmy-nominated portrayal of cartel don Hector “Tio” Salamanca on TV’s Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, died Thursday at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City following a short illness. He was 83.
His death was announced by son Morgan Margolis, the CEO of Knitting Factory Entertainment. Morgan Margolis said he and Mark’s wife Jacqueline were at his bedside at the time of death.
“He was one of a kind,” said manager Robert Kolker of Red Letter Entertainment. “We won’t see his likes again. He was a treasured client and a lifelong friend. I was lucky to know him.”
Born on November 26, 1939 in Philadelphia, Margolis briefly attended Temple University before moving to New York City to study acting, first under Stella Adler at the Actors Studio and subsequently...

The late Ray Liotta will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Friday, the same day as his first posthumous movie, Cocaine Bear, comes to theaters.
In a statement by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, who oversees the Walk of Fame, they announced that Ray Liotta will receive the 2,794 star on February 24th. In their release, they recalled, “With more than 60 feature films to his credit, Ray Liotta exceled at diverse and challenging roles in both comedy and drama.” Interestingly, according to the Walk of Fame’s website, “There is a two year waiting period after death” for a posthumous nomination to be considered. However, this seems to have been bent a bit, as Liotta passed away less than one year ago.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, stated, “Ray Liotta’s all-around career made him a triple threat and sadly his...

Eight years and eight seasons later, the “Game of Thrones” cast finally has some downtime to relax or move onto other projects.
