- In the first camp, Bergen-Belsen, many dead bodies are fully nude, up close shots showing breasts and penises.

- The film opens with scenes of urban combat in World War 2 Europe.
- British troops arrive at Bergen Belsen, piles of dead bodies of people who have very clearly died of terrible disease and starvation. Dead bodies are strewn about the prison camp, some in piles. Many naked victims of severe starvation, they literally are skin and bone. Veterans describe the sights and smells. Bodies are thrown into mass graves.
- Several quick videos showing both dead prison camp victims and German civilians bleeding badly from their faces, as well as a dead and emaciated woman being dragged away and thrown into a pit filled with other dead bodies.
- A sequence of footage of unwilling, horrified civilians being forced to transport thousands of dead bodies into mass graves, filled with hundred of starved dead bodies. Later, SS Officers are shown digging up mass graves and putting them in other mass graves.
- A Soviet veteran describes the systematic murdering of unarmed prison camp guards.
- Footage from the prison camp Majdanek showing piles of half-cremated skeletons.
- Descriptions of medical experiments on infant children at Auschwitz, some of which go into detail and are very disturbing.
- When Ameircan arrive at Buchenwald, they film scenes of filthy living conditions, piles of starved dead bodies stacked neatly as high as 6 feet. Many still living prisoners are extremely emaciated. Shots of piles of hundreds of dead bodies. Partially cremated skeletons are also shown.
- Later in the Buchenwald, color footage of the prison camp is shown, many dead and dying people, people on crutches, piles of nude bodies.
- Again, unwilling and horrified civilians, including old women and children, people are paraded through camp and forced to look, some faint and are carried away.
- Brief footage of the prison camp Dachau showing dead bodies frozen and covered in ice. Some bodies are so frozen they are unrecognizable.
