Force Extraction
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic6 October 2020
This second part of the story is more entertaining than the first and has more substance.

We learn who is behind the disappearances of members of the force strong race and why this is happening. It links in with other earlier stories as the villain is revealed as a character we know. I like that it brings that story a new added ending and it creates some drama with Mace Windu battling to save the day.

There is annoying dialogue and silly humour from Jar Jar as always when he is around and the story is not totally convincing in how it is formed but this is a pleasant bit of light entertainment.

An acceptable filler.

My rating: 7/10.

Bombad episode?

Warning: Spoilers
Again, not offensively bad, but definitely feels very filler-ish. Jar Jar is a total buffoon and I don't know why the character keeps getting used. Do people actually like seeing Jar Jar constantly make messes and screw things up?

In all seriousness, this arc was altogether more interesting than any of the other episodes revolving around that character. I just wish it had been executed in a slightly more exciting fashion I guess. Also wish Mace Windu had been in much more interesting episodes.

The fight between him and Mother Mazlin was cool while it lasted. Not bad overall, but it wouldn't hurt to skip it.

Decent Plot, weird Directing.

Warning: Spoilers
Liking Jar Jar or not, he sure earns his own storyline and involvements in the Star Wars plot. Still the directing of this episode seemed a little weird and not the typical typ. Getting the Grand Mother that evil seemed also not the right decision for me since she actually was quite neutral and lived a rather secluded life in Dathomir. But maybe after the genocide of her sisters she got desperate I dont know. However her conjuring the magic sword and having a little "light saber" performance with Mace Windu was quite bad ass and i liked it, maybe the best part in the entire episode, even it was really short.

Still the plot was pretty decent and it showed us that the force canbe used in different ways so I think there is nothing really wrong with this episode.

Why do they insist on keep using jar jar... He's literally the worst character ever created in any media in existence.

Skip this episode... You won't miss anything.
