A name from the past.
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic6 October 2020
This is the start of a fascinating 4 part arc which encompasses the whole of Lord Sidious' plot and how the Jedi can defeat the Sith.

In this episode we see the discovery of wreckage and a lightsaber belonging to Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. This is a name we have heard mentioned as the Jedi who initiated the building of the clone army.

This does not yet bring answers but sets up an intriguing and dark exploration of how and why the clones were created.

This is a great episode building suspense and interest. It is showing deep concerns for the Jedi.

This is beautifully animated and expertly created.

My rating: 9.5/10.

Remember me?

This was a pretty solid first part of the four-part arc revolving around the creation of the clones and who was behind it. I thought the mystery was actually very interesting. It's very well animated and acted.

Great Episode
lemkeleop18 June 2023
The Episode is extremely good, not for the development of the story at all, but because it has its own very thrilling story which makes some details from episode II more relevant. It is also the moment in Star Wars when Sidious plot is in huge danger of being detected by the council.

It is a joy to see him more afraid than he usual is and it is also a awesome final appearance (not counting yodas vision) of Dooku before his death in RotS.

Clearly a episode of clone wars wich belongs to the top ten just because it is extremely thrilling to watch.

It is also a nice set up for yodas side quest to learn how to become a force ghost in later episodes.

My Rating: 9.5/10.

Loved it

Warning: Spoilers
Really loved this episode. Finally sheds some light on the whole Darth Tyranus/Count Dooku matter in the perspective of the Jedi. They are finally starting to truly fathom how big everything is and I loved it. The Pykes getting a more relatively friendly and loyal vibe is also a big plus for me. I always loved them but saw them as bad. After this, the clone wars did what they do best, change perspective about characters and make you love even the worst characters in the Star Wars universe. Loved the voice acting and animations too, with a decent duel between obi/ani and dooku in the end. I find it quite "disappointing" to know that Dooku will survive, of course, but I still love the battles where he participates.
