Ridiculous

Can't believe I just sat through this thing. Forget the NC-17 rating, which makes no sense at all. I can't spoil this film because it can't be spoiled. I gave it a 3 because there were no scenes that appeared upside down and no edits that made the film skip. Other than that I can't say enough bad stuff about this thing. Somebody please argue with me, because I'd love to hear what it was I missed.. Okay, I have to put more lines of text. There must be some kind of deep meaning to having a Hitler with no mustache. I guess that was too deep for me. What else? I don't know. I'm trying to think of the last film I saw that was this bad, and perhaps Dana Andrews in "Hot Rods to Hell" might do it. I paid three bucks to watch this thing, I, think, so I sat through it. Hope that's enough lines.

OK.. I just found out about the mustache. I won't "spoil" that one.

Wow...So Bad and Boring

It's so bad it's...bad. The protagonist is cute, but the acting from everyone is just awful. And while the basic premise could be kind of cool, this movie's exploration of the idea does two things: 1) Goes nowhere 2) Meanders all over the place I know that seems impossible, but this movie actually achieves both.

NC17 For Being the Most Boring Movie Ever.

This is a 3 hour film that is about absolutely nothing. Apparently the writer/director thinks it's about a woman who immerses herself in the book "Mein Kampf" (it too is long-winded) and transforms herself into "Eva Braun" and as a subplot there's a government agency after her where she ends up in prison, or something. I didn't really pay attention to that part, so boring. The whole thing.

The acting is either like they literally read their lines before the camera rolled or just so overdramatic that it became nauseating. The character of Ava's mother, I guess, had to be the worst actress I've ever seen; and I've seen some really bad TV shows and films. Talk about overdramatic.

Technical aspect: video quality is okay. The sound was loud in some scenes, and quiet in others. The subtitles, in the beginning, were nonsensical (and placed way too early to even have any semblance of discernment.) The composition was lackluster and would've been better if they didn't try to mix Folk (maybe even Country) with Classical. Didn't mix well. The writing is awful and most of it is just a biography of Hitler, I guess. I don't know I got 52 minutes in and skip-watched the rest and that was mainly just skipping. If you made it past 52 minutes without dozing off, or skip-watching: I tip my hat...wait...no, why? Why? Why?
