This song and music video were the big breakthrough for Bristish singer Adele Adkins 5 years ago. What followed after these 4 minutes was a uniquely successful career including an Academy Award win for her outstanding Bond song. And listening to her voice in "Rolling in the Deep", I have no doubt that a long career with many more awards is bound to happen. The music video here is fairly simple. Mostly Adele is just sitting on a chair and singing. Occasionally, we see the floor full with glasses, maybe symbolizing how fragile the character is just like glasses being thrown at walls. All in all, the only really outstanding aspect here is Adele's voice. A triumph that makes for a quality music video, even if there is no real reason why you would wanna watch this instead of listening only to the audio. Recommended.
