This was an excellent watch for a Friday night movie!!! Great storytelling and compelling characters, plus an awesome soundtrack all the way through. You get connected to the characters and root them on during the entire story. Clearly a lot of effort went into making this movie. It's wonderful seeing young filmmakers go all out with making a work of art they're passionate about. Congratulations to you kids on all the hard work you put into this wonderful story! What a creative take on the classic gangster genre, portraying it in today's world. My husband and I loved watching this movie!!!!!!!

Yooo this is a good movie!! I like seeing a cast that actually looks like people I see every day when I'm walking the street in my city! It makes it so much more realistic and I can imagine myself being in the movie. That Julie is fine as hell. Bruce outdid himself getting her lmaooo. He is a wild one. Don't want to get on to his bad side. Watch out! Lol but for real this was a good movie to kick back with. Kinda liked how Bruce was wiling out on Maurice the whole time. He gave it to him straight imo. Tony was the best tho he always keeping it real with his boy Bruce and got his back. Reminded me of my homies.

Wow... what to say... first off I want to admit that this movie had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I honestly didn't know what to expect was going to happen next. And that's saying a lot considering everything being pumped out these days is generic bullshoot designed to make our brains rot. Duffle Bag Boy kept me interested for every one of it's 71 minutes. This was so worth taking a little over an hour out of my day to experience a refreshing story with a hard headed bamf like Bruce.. If you're looking for a good movie without any of Hollywood's cliches, look no further than Duffle Bag Boy.

What is up with these reviews? Did we watch the same movie? I stopped writing reviews because there were so many, I felt that they would never be read. At times this was a total snooze feast. The camera work in some of scenes was just awful. There was a basket ball game that went on for what seemed like forever, it almost seemed as if one of the players was holding the camera. The storyline was weak. The 25 number 10 ratings must have come from the staff and crew. I think my 5 rating might be too high. Hitchhiking across the country, quick stop to work as a dealer and a hitman for a drug kingpin. Then fall in love with the local THOT. Dealing drugs, no sex and no nudity come on.

Yes i did make an account just to review this movie. And actually i really liked it! Duffle bag boy is an indie film that doesn't look like just another student project. Im so sick of every indie filmmaker making a cringey story that makes no sense. Thus one has a nice story and isnt gory so my girlfriend could watch with me. The costumes and sets in this movie were sick! I loved bruce's getup and the garage looks like a really cool place to be. Id totally be vibing with bruce and tony in the back of the van if you know what i mean lol. This is my kind of movie. Thanks for the flick my man. Peace.

I started watching this movie because I thought it was going to be a love story based on some ads I saw for it on Facebook. And you know what, it didn't disappoint. Duffle Bag Boy is not targeted as a romance, but it had such a gritty realism to it that I truly enjoyed. I think the relationship between Bruce and Julie, especially his feelings towards her was exactly what I was needing to watch tonight. There were pockets of sweet moments like when she brought him water at the basketball game that feels just like real life. Reality isn't glossed up or fake, and that's what I really got out of watching this movie.
