- Christopher Herrmann: You think we made Jones suicidal?
- Peter Mills: No, that's not what I'm saying. Just own up to what you did!
- Christopher Herrmann: [charges at him] I was the last person to see her alive that night! You think I haven't wondered over and over what I could've done different?
- Officer Woodall: [arresting Boden] You picked the wrong cop to piss off.
- Wallace Boden: I haven't even started with you yet.
- Matthew Casey: [to the cop arresting Boden] Officer Woodall, is this really the hill you want to die on?
- Chaplain Orlovsky: [Otis and Cruz are complaining about each other like an old married couple] Has it occurred to you two that maybe you've been roommates for too long?
- Joe Cruz: We just moved in.
- Jeff Clarke: All her brother said is that she was depressed for years. And she attempted this once before, when she was 16.
- Gabriela Dawson: [about Jones' dad] He knew that? And he STILL bullied her? Berated her?
- Matthew Casey: [Gives Otis a box] Otis, I need you to clear out Jones' locker.
- Brian Zvonecek: Why me?
- Matthew Casey: Well, you're the one with the box.
- Kelly Severide: Okay, you guys, pony up. I talked to Bloom's old battalion chief in Denver, and I got an idea how to help him out. First step, we fill up this boot.
- [Capp puts $5.00 in the boot]
- Kelly Severide: $5.00? Really? Okay, do you guys know the warehouse fire that derailed Bloom's career?
- Peter Mills: Yeah, ten guys got killed.
- Kelly Severide: Because of a tough call he had to make.
- Peter Mills: He was the incident commander?
- Kelly Severide: That's right. Fire was in the structure. He had to give an order-- no one else goes in. He made those guys stand there and listen to their brothers dying over the radio. They spit in his face, tried to go around him. He wrestled a few of them to the ground, and that's how he hurt his back. He was trying to protect them, but the way they saw it... he abandoned all those guys inside and got 'em all killed. That is a heavy weight for a man to carry around, don't you think?
- [Capp shows Severide his empty wallet]
- Kelly Severide: We can stop by the ATM.
- [Capp nods]
- Leslie Shay: Hey, I know why you're doing this, but this guy's gonna keep letting you down. You know that, right?
- Kelly Severide: Uh-huh.
- Leslie Shay: But your gonna try anyway?
- Kelly Severide: When Jones first arrived at 51, I made it clear that I wasn't someone that she could come to for help. I thought she needed a little tough love.
- Leslie Shay: You can't put that on yourself, Kelly.
- Kelly Severide: I'm not, I-I didn't know where her head was at. But if Bloom goes into a tailspin, I can't claim that I didn't see it coming.
- Christopher Herrmann: Get out of there, numbnuts!
- Matthew Casey: Herrmann!
- Christopher Herrmann: Sir, please step out of the vehicle if you'd be so kind.
- Christopher Herrmann: That was the dumbest move I've seen in a long time.
- Joe Cruz: Yeah, Darwin-Award thinkin' right there. Ha! What a call.
- Randall McHolland: Hey, what do you guys suppose Jones said in that note to Dawson? I'm just curious.
- Christopher Herrmann: The other night... Jones stopped by Molly's. She was looking for Dawson.
- Matthew Casey: Really? What for?
- Christopher Herrmann: No idea. But she apparently went straight home and... you know the rest.
- Brian Zvonecek: Hey, Shay?
- Leslie Shay: Hmm?
- Brian Zvonecek: I got a favor to ask.
- Leslie Shay: [sighs] No.
- Brian Zvonecek: It has to do with Jones. We need to clear out her locker. But, in the interest of "gender sensitivity", would you mind?
- Leslie Shay: God forbid you guys have to touch a box of tampons.
- Brian Zvonecek: I owe you so much.
- Christopher Herrmann: You're going to hell. You know that?
- Brian Zvonecek: It's worth it.
