Christian Faber has come up with the idea of the Great Spirit robot in the end of the nineties. He had been diagnosed with a benign brain-tumor, and during his treatment, he imagined that his medicine capsules contained small warriors who were fighting to heal a sick robot that laid in the ocean. This idea ultimately lead to the creation of the BIONICLE product range and storyline, one of the all-time best-performing series of the LEGO company. The nature of this "Great Spirit" has been kept secret from 2001 until the release of this video, and Faber has also kept his original inspiration under tight wraps until 2013, when the origins of BIONICLE were finally revealed in the book Brick by Brick, written by David Robertson.
This short is a combination of the various BIONICLE online clips released by LEGO in the second half of 2008. The only difference is the presence of a narrator.
