These 14 minutes are the 4th short film effort by writer and director Hala Matar, but what I saw here in this film from last year does not make me think she is ready for full feature films yet. Even with a fairly famous actor like Gubler plus Johnny Knoxville, this did not become an interesting watch. It's unclear if this movie moves into comedy or drama terrain mostly, but in the end neither the script nor the performance (but especially the script) managed to convince me and I cannot say this got me curious about Matar's other works. A fairly forgettable short film. Not recommended, unless you really are a huge Gubler or Knoxville fan.
