In the first Creation Seminar Series DVD, The Age of The Earth, Dr. Kent Hovind gives numerous reasons why the world is about 6,000 years old, rather than 4.6 billion. The 2nd, The Garden of Eden, Kent speaks to the same congregation about how Adam and Eve's sin changed the world's atmosphere.
We read in Genesis 3 that Adam and Eve listened to Satan rather than God and ate the forbidden fruit. As punishments, Adam must sweat to work, and he will have to deal with thorns. Eve must be ruled by Adam, and experience pain when giving birth. The serpent must crawl on it's belly and be enemies with mankind.
But Kent also shows how science reveals how the Earth itself suffered as a result of The Fall and later Noah's Flood. Through his presentation, he shows what made the Garden of Eden such a paradise and how The Fall and Flood made that change.
Before this, however, he has a brief speech on theistic evolution and The King James Bible. Kent compares The Bible and evolution and shows that they are opposites.
For example, The Bible says that there were birds before reptiles, Evolution says that their were reptiles before birds. Therefore, the Christian God is not one who would use evolution to create.
Some people use 2 Peter 3:8 to justify theistic evolution. (I've heard this argument and I also find it silly.) The verse says that "With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day." However, this verse is about Christ's 2nd coming, not creation.
Also, God creates plants on Day 3, the sun on Day 4, and bees on Day 5. If this is 3,000 years(or longer), how do flowers survive without proper sunlight for so long, and without any pollination?
Like he said, he also defends using the King James Bible rather than others. He mentions this in his last video, so I will describe this in that review.
After this introduction, Kent shows evidence for how the Pre-Flood world was different. In Genesis 6:4, it says that their were giants in that day. Kent exposes that there are skeletons that confirm this, and that goes against evolution.
The Smithsonian museum has some of these in their basement, and you can only see them by request. They don't display them because it contradicts evolutionary teaching.
Kent also shows evidence and history that shows that Lucy, a caveman display, is a fraud and other flaws with "pre-historic" cavemen.
After showing these and other evidences, he also points out that Adam and Eve were told to eat fruits, vegetables, and even seeds. (This is near the end of the movie.) He shows that Africans eat this and have numerous health advantages.
Kent also shows how eating seeds helps prevent cancer and other health problems, and that this is normally not mentioned by doctors because that means they can't sell medicine.
Through all of this evidence, Kent shows how true science points to a world that was ruined by mankind, and reminds us that God will restore it once again at the end of time. We can only be a part of this restoration if we trust in Him.
As a result, The Garden of Eden is a compelling and informative seminar that shows how science can confirm a literal reading of Genesis.
