Best Change of Plot

Warning: Spoilers
It may seem like an episode all about Andy, but it's really about April. April's character was rarely emotional and only occasionally held conversations that weren't sarcastic. Usually, she made decisions or expressed feelings by going through short repetitive conversations with Ben, Ron, and or Leslie.

This episode, she's going through the production of Andy's final episode of Johnny Karate, seeing how her decision to take the job at The Foundation is impacting others, and she's starting to doubt her choice. It's a good little break from the plot lines that have all seemed exactly the same this season.

Season 7 is filled with some of the best episodes of the series and this is one of them.

Amazing format, emotional writing, and a damn good time.

Love you Johnny Karate.

Warning: Spoilers
I was enjoying watching this episode. It feels unique, refreshing, and moderately funny but it feels too... One dimensional? Also it's missing Tom! All of them were in this Johnny Karate's (Andy) last episode but Tom? Come on! How can he was not in there.

I love "Parks and Recreation" and can recall many wonderful shows. However, if someone asked me to name the very best, this would be easy..."The Johnny Karate Super Awesome Musical Explosion Show". It's absolutely nothing like any other episode...and I am okay with that.

The entire show consists of Andy (Chris Pratt) making his final episode of his very popular "Johnny Karate Show" and it's much like taking an episode of "Beakman's World" and "The Pee Wee Herman Show" and injecting it with massive doses of LSD. It's crazy, bizarre and side- splittingly funny. Not to be missed and very clever as well as weird. It also is a terrific way to provide closure to Andy and April (Aubrey Plaza) on the show...giving them the perfect ending we all wanted. See this one!!

Great send-off to a great inside character.

One of the funniest episodes of the series. This episode is the counterpart like the office episode "threat level midnight." Johnny Karate, Burt Macklin, two great characters played by andy dwyer were brilliantly played by chris pratt. Also the cameo of John cena was great too. Others were great as always. Deducting one star just because tom was missing in this episode as in story he was in NY but at least they should've added a commercial of Tom's bistro.

I can only assume that the proper script was lost or stolen so they had to put out this tripe. A very poor episode of a great TV show.

The actors are so talented

I really enjoyed watching the actors play characters on Andy's show. Ben is a scientist, Leslie is a motivated office woman, Gary is a mailman, Donna is a police officer, Ron is a carpenter, April has her animal's corner. They are all so charismatic and lively - really interesting to watch their acting. Amy Poehler is so talented and really stole the spotlight in those business clothes especially the perfect-fitting pants. Her smile and charm really shone as she looked at the camera to let the audience know what is next. Andy Dwyer was hilarious in this episode. He led the show well and was Bert Macklin for some scenes while also showing off his singing skills. Ben was so cute in his scientist outfit.

Yuck. Avoid at all costs.

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know if it is an "old adage" or not but it is certainly a truth... The first 3 seasons of a Greg Daniels project painful to miss. The last season of a Greg Daniels project are hard to watch. I caught it binging several years after it aired. During my earlier watching of P&R, I admittedly skipped some of the episodes on HULU and am now going back and looking at what I missed so I missed it at first. I wish I would have missed it the second time around. When it first came on, I thought I had dozed off or something and was dreaming. But no.. it was a nightmare. Hey, I know kids, when you run out of story lines just create new ones giving everyone a different job so you don't have that pesky weight of a memory. I won't go into details about the show because I was really too displeased to pay much attention but if you've ever seen the movie, "Confederate States of America"....you may remember the commercials that were all at once disturbing and saddening. On this parody episode, they aren't exactly as sad or disturbing but they are uncomfortable when the head of the Wamapoke Tribe advertises his casino. Aviod at all cost.

Worst episode of parks and rec by far

Not funny, extremely childish, doesnt contribute towards the story in any meaningful way. Feels very out of place and like a waste of an episode at the end of a very well done series overall. I would just skip it
