- For those of you who are arachnophobic, this is not the episode for you. The Parasites are very much like spiders, and are quite creepy. There is a jump scare that will catch anybody out halfway through the episode, and there is webbing everywhere.

- Parasites are crushed by the Moon cracking up as an egg.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Some may be upset when Clara makes a message to see if the world wants Earth or the creature growing from the Moon to live. They choose the Moon, but Earth survives nevertheless.
- Clara's argument with the Doctor at the end can be quite upsetting.
