Plot: A 30 something, whiny artist (Jared Withrow) and sister inherit the family business after their parent's sudden death. Jared and other executives of Shelby Engineering make terrible business decisions. Combine that with an employee and mobster who are sabatoging the company. Jared meets an office manager (Jessica Koloian), and they fall in love. Jessica is an idealized Christian single young woman. She rehabilitates everyone she comes into contact with.
By the end of the movie, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you leave feeling encouraged. And a surprise twist of beating the odds and coming out on top.
My wife gave the movie 4/10, but I'm a sucker for cheesy, romantic movies.
My favorite part was the video with the Shelby parent's. Terrible production quality, but that's what they were going for. It was so funny, I couldn't stop laughing.
The reason it lost a point (9/10 vs 10/10) was because of 2 things: 1) the movie tried to do too much. Too many side stories that really didn't weave together very well, and 2) the casting of all side characters was pretty weak.
Give this one a chance! You won't be disappointed.
