This episode is largely a bit of a lighthearted filler but it is pretty fun and there are some deeper aspects to this episode that make it worthwhile.
It seems to be intended as a link to other Star Wars as we see C3PO and R2D2 as well as another cameo at the end from Bail Organa.
One mildly annoying element is that C3PO calls the Empire for help despite surely knowing he has been sent by someone who is not a big fan of the Empire. But that is a very minor issue and is a possible bit of stupidity by Threepio.
The best aspect is the start of deeper background being given to Zeb and how he starts to develops a different relationship with Ezra. It is nice to have some depth to is character and add to the chemistry of the crew.
Another nice aspect is Ezra's use of the force and the promise of Jedi training from Kanan. It is cleverly built slowly increasing the anticipation for viewers.
My rating: 7/10.
