Before Five-O can overpower him, he's shot, but not fatally, by another professional. He escapes by abducting an ambulance, but ends up fainting at the wheel. In hospital, he convinces Steve that he had a change of heart in both senses after a transplant, which his employer, the Detroit original mob family patriarch and murder contracts champion Albert Bagosa, 'arranged' and stopped killing. Instead he set up his own 'witness protection' refuge on Hawaii, but Bagosa is finally in its trail and sent a crew of six. Danny dug up his brother Matty's $13 million cash stash, but it's 5,5 million shy of the amount demanded back by Colombian drug lord Marco Reyes. Even a loan shark won't give him credit, but Chin's disowned kin Gabriel Waincroft helps out in exchange for protection from abusive prisoners who know he's Five-O related. The Colombian hand-over holds grim surprises for both sides.—KGF Vissers
