The show has a typical opening with the Rock coming out and talking and other people coming out and talking. Throughout the show, there are periodic segments with the Ministry prowling the McMahon mansion and waiting for "her" to come home. The first match is Val Venis defending the Intercontinental Championship against the Road Dogg. Shane McMahon takes on Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco (disguised as the Road Warriors) in a handicap match. Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett defend the Tag Team Championship against the Public Enemy. Mideon faces the Big Boss Man in a steel cage match. We see footage of Sable and Jerry Lawler at the Playboy Mansion. Jerry Lawler interviews Sable live in the ring. We see another Mean Street Posse vignette. Bob Holly defends the Hardcore Championship against Billy Gunn. Triple H calls out Kane. The main event is the Rock and Paul Wight versus Steve Austin and Mankind.
