The two disks for this typically clunky Axel Braun spoof-for-profit exercise fail to include his usual recording of auditions, perhaps the only thing I look forward to watching from him. Disk Two is a complete waste, brief BTS filler plus "bonus" sex scenes excerpted from other Wicked Pictures releases.
Right from the start, all we get is lame imitation of the not-very-good French original movie, opening here with a carbon copy of the memorable Jane Fonda stripping off her spacesuit in weightless mode. Casting Riley Steele in the title role was a big mistake, as she's vapid and not even sexy, merely a sort of Little Annie Fanny doll-like persona.
Script is terrible, copying scenes from the original that were drawn from a popular French comic strip of the time, and making no sense at all. Big-name cameos by Tera Patrick and the inevitable Ron Jeremy are a complete waste, as each pops in for a few seconds to recite stupid exposition.
Overacting is what Axel thinks is funny, ranging from his mindless encouragement to James Bartholet as the antagonist Durand-Durand (Bartholet is a hambone who somehow made a living playing NonSex roles in many a porn video), and the unfunny antics of Evan Stone and Eric Masterson as Nylo and Mylo. Production is so sloppy I could swear that Evan pronounced both their names as Mylo.
Photography credited to Alex Ladd is horrible, with fuzzy, washed out visual quality, and most of the sets are crummy. Wicked contract star Asa Akiira is wasted as the villainess of the piece, and Braun quite foolishly casts some very sexy babes like Priya Rai and Kiki D'Aire and then merely tosses them in as momentary NonSex eye candy. Sexiest scene is turned in by Chanell Heart with an arousing blow job.
Film ends on an extremely low note, just sort of dissipating, with horrible final lines: (Barbarella): "Do you think he saw us?", as the blind angel Pygar flies overhead; (Akira as the Black Queen aka Great Tyrant): "Angel has no mercy". The gibberish dialog is credited to Braun and one "Mischief Marie".
