  Bonnie : [half whisper]  Alvin's dead.

  Christy : What?

  Bonnie : I think he had another heart attack. He's dead.

  Christy : No!

  [feels his neck for a pulse] 

  Bonnie : I already tried that. He's gone.

  Christy : No he's not!

  [calls 911] 

  Christy : I think my father just had a heart attack... no, he's not moving, alright, thanks.

  [hangs up the phone, terrified] 

  Christy : He's gonna be *fine*!

• Bonnie : I'm just going over to slap the snot out of Alvin's ex-wife.

  Marjorie : Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

  Bonnie : Get out of my way, old lady!

  [Marjorie loudly slaps her] 

  Marjorie : [firmly]  Sit-down!

  Christy : [Bonnie does]  Wow, I wish I knew it was that easy.
