Bradley Walsh is a talented guy who has all the traits you need to be a good game show/quiz host. The trouble is sometimes the format hasn't always suited him. He hit the jackpot with 'The Chase' but then popped up in the awful 'Play to the whistle'.
Here though he is on top form. This format allows him to be mixing with the public, he can make fun of them in a jokey way, he can entertain and also keep the ship on track.
And it works. This show is part Generation Game and part Saturday Night Takeaway. Most importantly though it's funny and it's entertaining, and in a summer where both the BBC and ITV have not made any attempt to entertain us then this is a welcome bit of sunshine on a Saturday night.
Well done Bradley, and thanks for the family entertainment.
