Orson Welles was the spokesperson for Paul Masson wine and champagne for a while (1978-1980) in several commercials. This one in particular must be the one where the hilarious outtakes were leaked and which makes such view an interesting one to see how genius Orson was. There's class, refinament and makes viewers feel compelled to acquire one of those bottles. And the man's voice is of true power and command.

I watched all the ads available and they're all fabulous. But when you get to see the outtakes the experience makes it all more interesting to see a drunk Welles fumbling his lines, slightly lost and that's how one can make a good case of how delicious and effective the Paul Masson wine is. It's hysterically funny, a meme for generations to come. As for the ads, Welles is an important presence to sell the brand and he makes a great job here. 9/10.
