- GoofsIn spite of the captured TIE fighter being at the center of the pulse detonation, it is still ready to go when the crew of the Ghost are escaping the Star Destroyer.
- Quotes

[slowly gets up to face the Inquisitor]
Kanan Jarrus: That was a mistake.
The Inquisitor: [grins] Why? Because you have no one left to die for you?
Kanan Jarrus: No... because I have nothing left to fear!

Facing the Dark Side
Continuing the rise in quality this finale is the best episode of Season 1 and lifts the standard of the season overall to match the standard of the first season of Clone Wars.
It is not perfect, perhaps, there are still some very small moments trying too hard to make it 'child friendly' (I don't think children need any dumbing down of humour or content at all) but this is far more powerful and grown up than most of the season. There is some dark and dramatic material which is great.
There is an exciting and very eventful battle between the evil Inquisitor and Kanan & Ezra which is brilliant. We also get a very striking cameo appearance at the end.
It was clear that if the standard continued to build Rebels could rise to the great standard of later Clone Wars seasons.
My rating: 9/10.
