Blew it

Couldn't even wait a week before the writers lack of imagination needed another voice to lean on. And now its just piling on. This show just took the possibilities I was expecting for it ... and with the world at his fingertips that's no small number of options, and ripped it into comedic ensemble shreds. Maybe it was too much effort to expect to find more things for him to do than bowl. We don't get enough of actors having conversations. It should have been "Survivor" meets "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". Should have taught himself to fly or pilot a yacht across the Atlantic or sailed across it and we got to tag along. I had a feeling it was going to turn goofball in perpetuity but I was hoping. And I wanted to figure out how to get gas out of a gas pump for generators. This valuable theme put in the wrong hands and small minds. Lost me.

It sucks. Sorry.

Took you guys good 80 minutes of the show to completely ruin it. Phil reminds me of Eric Foreman from That 70's Show when he is being sarcastic or silly. Which is funny. Except Phil is not. Instead turned into an obnoxious Ned Flanders who is trying to score and makes me want to punch him in the face.

The show had a great start. Now it is one huge cheese of that has nothing to do with the post-apocalyptic comic relief. Bring back the "What can you do in an empty world" stuff and try to pair it up with the rest of the story. Nobody wants to watch a horny cheesy/cheery goof-ball.

I hate no-beard Phil.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is the worst, they completely ruin the show by now. Phil shaved his beard and is like he lost his personality, it became just another dumb sitcom at this episode. Why not just tell the girl he wants to do her he's last man on earth she would eventually do it... Also now he acts like he has to devote himself to Carol, the Phil we were introduced to in the first episodes wouldn't give a s. That scene when he was trying to convince her of agreeing with him about having sex with Carol is an insult and the one when he puts on a show because they are both mad at him? such a big disappointment. Lost me too, I'm not watching two and half man with Ashton Kutcher.

How is it possible that after 5 episodes they already said "F*** it" to title of the show?! I mean, there are examples of series that, although not being "good" to the critics (generally speaking), said "F*** it" to their own titles as well... But it was after seasons, not on the first season! Thought I'd get a pleasant surprise... Didn't.
