A variety of aircraft are seen taking the cure to other parts of the country. One is a Grumman C-2A Greyhound. The markings on the tail show it to be with Fleet Logistics Squadron 30 (VRC-30) the "Providers" which is based at Naval Air Station North Island San Diego, CA. The F/A-18 Super Hornet seen taking off had the letters 'NE' and a dragon on the vertical stabilizer which means it's from Strike Fighter Squadron 192 (VFA-192) "Golden Dragons" which is part of Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) and is based at Naval Air Station Lemoore. Another is a Lockheed C-130 Hercules with Niagara and the number 79281 on the vertical stabilizer. This aircraft is part of the 914th Airlift Wing based out of the Niagara Falls Reserve Station, New York. There's also a C-17 Globemaster III with March and the number 44138 on the vertical stabilizer. This aircraft is part of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing based at March AFB, located in Riverside County CA.
Includes a video by Ray Mabus, the actual Secretary of the Navy during the period the episode was taped.
Commander Chandler asks one of the SEAL's if the BSL level IV lab at Naval Station Norfolk was still operational. While it is certainly possible there are other classified BSL level IV labs whose locations are not known to the general public, publicly there are only two such labs known to be in the United States. One of them is at the headquarters for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia and the other at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease in Fort Detrick, Maryland.
