Undeniably, The Circle is back and coming in with new tricks. While the Netflix hit doesn’t disappoint, it still has catfish for the newest season. One of the new players, Caress Russell is coming in strong as her rapper little bro, but who is this famous guy?
Suspicions Arise In The Circle
During the first four episodes of The Circle Season 6, fans get to know a few new players. Undoubtedly, one of the biggest tricks up The Circle‘s sleeve was it announcing not everyone in the competition is human. When the announcement comes up, it is shocking to say the least that there is an A.I. player posing as a competitor. After the huge introduction of the idea of a computer generated person being in the game, everyone begins to point fingers. But among the group is more than just the chat bot catfish, there are a...

Pushing the boundaries of technology has been a part of The Circle’s DNA ever since the very first #CircleChat. While many reality shows prefer face-to-face drama, the experiment attempted to change the game by putting an app at the center of the action. Years later, The Circle is doing it again by introducing an Artificial Intelligence bot into the competition for the first time ever.
Enter Max, an AI chatbot who joins the game in Season 6, throwing everything into chaos. While this brand-new kind of catfish catches the players by surprise, the creative minds behind the show say it was a natural evolution for a series that’s always held a mirror up to social media culture.

In the mid-1980s, Jon Bon Jovi was preparing for his make-or-break third album with his namesake band Bon Jovi. The album that would eventually be known as Slippery When Wet was still in the planning stages when Jon and Richie Sambora were introduced to songwriter Desmond Child. During their first meeting, Child handed Jon a song title that would launch the band into the stratosphere, “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Jon’s jaw-dropping reaction predetermined the tune’s mega-success.

Will Forte just might be a new honorary Irish citizen on the internet thanks to upcoming Netflix comedy series “Bodkin.”
Forte stars as a podcaster who travels to a small coastal Irish town to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers. Siobhán Cullen and Robyn Cara play Forte’s fellow podcast hosts who uncover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined.
Per the official synopsis, as the heroes of “Bodkin” try to discern fact from fiction — about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves — the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears. Chris Walley and David Wilmot also star.
Each of the seven “Bodkin” episodes span one hour. The original series is the latest Netflix venture from Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground productions, which was recently behind Oscar-nominated “Rustin.

When “Vanderpump Rules” first premiered on Bravo in 2013, the premise was simple: a selected cast of chaos-makers from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant staff at Sur navigated Los Angeles in their twenties. While the base of the series pulled from past reality television renegades like “The Hills,” it proved to be an entirely different ballgame due to the unabashed narcissism and web of relationships present in the cast.
The majority were aspiring actors, living and partying in an era before social media as we know it today had taken off. They spent their days calling out sick to take trips to Vegas, only to have to sit down in a staff meeting the next morning. However, around Season 9 of “Vanderpump Rules,” popularity dwindled. It raised questions about how long the current crew could continue with the same storylines, give or take a Scandoval.

Recently, Amazon Prime introduced a new series that promises to be full of laughs, drama, and adventures. In The Goat, previous relative stars from multiple shows will compete for the title of “Greatest Of All Time Reality TV Star.”
Goat Coming To Prime
Markedly, Prime Video is bringing a new series that will crown The Goat Reality TV star. Notably, it looks like the crossover that reality TV has been missing. Coupled with challenges and alliances, the host Daniel Tosh jokes the contestants will have to put their “strength and lack of life skills” to the test to face off for the title. Undeniably, the show is packed with a reality star-studded cast from The Bachelor, Love Is Blind, Big Brother, Real Housewives, and many more popular shows. Each of the fourteen contestants will compete to be named the best reality star and of course, walk away with a $200,000 prize.

The Goat has cast three Bravo stars in a quest to literally find the greatest reality television star of all time.
Yes, just like it sounds, The Goat is a competition show where famous faces from reality television battle it out for the title and a cash prize.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum Jill Zarin, The Valley star Kristen Doute, and Reza Aslan from the Shahs of Sunset are all appearing on the new show.
Comedian Daniel Tosh brings together 14 reality TV stars to participate in the competition-type show.
It sounds similar to House of Villains, except these stars are fighting to be named the Goat of the reality TV world or, at the very least, this reality competition series.

“I’ve wanted to do it since I was about 16, and when Harry Potter ended in June, I just needed a change,” Watson once told Marie Claire. “It was quite symbolic for me.

Hot Swedish helmer of Georgian descent Levan Akin is due to kickstart Berlin’s Panorama Feb. 15 with his feature drama “Crossing.” Nine years earlier, he walked the Berlinale red carpet with his youth sci-fi “The Circle,” showcased at Generation. Next to him were his Swedish producers of Rmv Film – Abba’s Benny Andersson and his son Ludvig Andersson.
The latter who met Akin over 20 years ago, has stayed by his side since his debut pic “Certain People” in 2011, serving also as executive producer on the 2019 Swedish Oscar entry “And Then We Danced,” and as co-producer this year of “Crossing”.
“Rmv Film spotted Levan from his very first film and has supported him all along,” confirms French Quarter’s Mathilde Dedye, producer of “Crossing” and “And Then We Danced,”, who believes “trust and continuity to be very important for the development of auteurism.”

We’ve had a marvellous run of Taskmaster series lately, so when a new line-up announcement is on the horizon, it’s easy to wonder whether the winning streak will continue or if we’re due a dud.
Never fear – Alex Horne and co. have delivered once again, although the series 17 Taskmaster line-up might not be quite what you’re expecting. Instead of the now-traditional Taskmaster family line-up, this time they’ve gone for a veteran from outside the world of stand-up comedy, plus four rising stars with slightly less mainstream recognition than normal. As ever with this show though, anybody you’re not familiar with at the start, you’ll almost certainly love by the end of the series.
The Taskmaster series 17 line-up is: Steve Pemberton, Sophie Willan, Nick Mohammed, John Robins and Joanne McNally! And here they are appearing in the very first trailer for the new run:...

Glynis Johns, remembered by movie audiences as Mrs. Banks from Mary Poppins and by Broadway devotees as the first person to sing Stephen Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns” on a national stage, died Thursday of natural causes at an assisted living home in Los Angeles. She was 100.
Her death was announced by her manager and publicist Mitch Clem. “Today’s a sad day for Hollywood,” Clem said in a statement. “She is the last of the last of old Hollywood.”
A Tony winner (Best Actress/Musical) for her performance as Desiree Armfeldt in the original 1973 Broadway cast of the Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler A Little Night Music, Johns both debuted and, due to her widespread acclaim, helped popularize what would become perhaps Sondheim’s most beloved and well-known songs with “Send in the Clowns.”

Glynis Johns, the upbeat leading lady with the British charm who starred as the spirited feminist mother Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins, has died. She was 100.
Johns lived in West Hollywood and died Thursday of natural causes at an assisted living facility in the area, her manager, Mitch Clem, told The Hollywood Reporter.
A multitalented actress, dancer, pianist and singer, Johns earned a best supporting actress Oscar nomination for playing the widowed saloon and hotel owner Mrs. Firth in Fred Zinnemann’s Australia-set The Sundowners (1960).
Plus, she memorably sang “Send in the Clowns,” which Stephen Sondheim wrote just for her, in her Tony Award-winning performance as Desiree Armfeldt in the original 1973 production of A Little Night Music.
The husky voiced Johns was nominated for a Golden Globe for portraying a daffy older socialite who is stirred by the young stud she meets on the beach in a then-controversial film about sex,...

Nader Saeivar’s Iranian drama No End has been dropped from the official selection of the Hainan Island International Film Festival in what filmmakers say was an act of censorship by Chinese authorities.
ArtHood Entertainment, which is handling world sales for No End, told The Hollywood Reporter it received a confirmation from the Hainan Island festival on Nov. 19 that the Iranian drama had been picked to run in the main competition at the event. The 2023 Hainan festival runs Dec. 16-22 in the tropical resort city of Sanya in China’s southernmost province.
But this week, the festival has pulled the film, citing “political pressure and censorship laws of the Chinese government,” said ArtHood.

David Beckham did not watch his Netflix documentary until it premiered, the streamer’s head of unscripted has revealed.

Turns out, it wasn’t much of a challenge at all.
“Squid Game: The Challenge” dominated Netflix’s overall leaderboard in its debut week, when it drew 20.1 million views. The unscripted competition series picked up where the I.P. left off in 2021, bumping Part 1 of “The Crown’s” sixth season to second place (8.8 million views) for the week of November 20, 2023.
“Squid Game: The Challenge,” filmed in the UK, is an English-language series; Og “Squid Game” was a Korean-language series dubbed into local languages. As such, the scripted show technically rests atop Netflix’s “Non-English” list, though it blows away all the English-language stuff anyway.
“The Challenge” was so big it brought “Squid Game” back to the Global Top 10 for non-english series — at no. 6 with 1.6 million views — its 21st appearance. The scripted show hadn’t made the list since the week ending June 19, 2022. The long Thanksgiving holiday weekend sure helped the streams pile up.

Exclusive: Squid Game: The Challenge has piqued the interest of quite a few spectators.
The spinoff of the popular Netflix show, which allowed contestants to immerse themselves in the world of the Korean hit, debuted on November 22. In its first five days of availability, the premiere episode drew an audience of about 1.1M U.S. households, according to Samba TV.
The tech company reports that viewership was fairly diverse, as Black households over-indexed by 20% and Hispanic households over-indexed by 16%.
Compared to some other Netflix reality series, this indicates Squid Game: The Challenge might be a winner for Netflix, despite the legal challenges the streamer is now facing. According to Samba TV, The Circle Season 5 premiere managed just 264,000 U.S. households in the same five-day window, while Physical: 100 amassed about 396,000.
This doesn’t tell the whole viewing story, though it does give a pretty good picture of the series’ performance so far.

Studio Lambert has introduced the world to Gogglebox, Race Across the World and The Circle but the indie has faced its greatest test in Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge, and the road has been a bit of a bumpy one.
Stephen Lambert’s 15-year-old British production house, which its founder says is having its busiest year following a strategic shift to “go big” on premium unscripted, took on its grandest undertaking when Netflix gave it the weighty reins to the Squid Game competition series.

Exclusive: The Circle has cemented itself as one of Netflix’s longest-running reality formats with a double series recommission, as filming moved from the UK to Atlanta.
Seasons 6 and 7 of Studio Lambert’s social media-style format were recently shot in the city, with the sixth set to air next spring. The Circle used to be filmed in Manchester.
In The Circle, a number of players move into separate apartments within the same building. Every few days, contestants are ‘rated’ by the others and the lowest are eliminated.
