Another outstanding series from Netflix. Excellent actors and story. Binge-worthy.

A Very Enjoyable Series
jadesroom31 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Things I liked: 1. Cinematography - just outstanding and beautiful 2. The boyhood story - seeing how the friendship developed brought tears to my eyes as I think about the devotion that these two boys had for one another 3. Strong characters - I really wanted to know what would happen next to each of these characters.

Things I didn't liked: 1. The lack of redeeming values. For example, I wanted Sastre to get his bar but not through extortion. I hate cheering for bad guys doing bad things. 2. The lack of a solid explanation telling how Sastre survived the police shoot out. 3. All of the police officers except Prada failed to think logically.

I really enjoyed this series and the acting is excellent! I especially liked the friendship between the two main actors. We need more series like this!

THIS IS TOP Spanish CINEMA
sgbreton7730 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE! engaging story, with likable characters anyone can relate to, fantastic performances pretty much by everyone involved and great chemistry specially between the 2 leads, Miguel and Sastre. Oh, and an IMPECCABLE cinematography, beautifully shot, every frame carefully composed. I would really rate this Spanish series as an absolute TOP, however, I must say there is just one thing that let me down a bit, and that's how the story is resolved, pretty much what happens in the last chapter. ** SPOILER ** The moment Sastre appears alive after being wounded and shot was a let down and just not logical . How did he survive and how did he make it to the cellar of his bar? Never explained. And the fact that the body found could not be properly identified as his after days makes no sense either. The way Miguel tricks Chatarrero at the end was also not quite convincing to me. This was disappointing as everything before was perfectly assembly. The only explanation that i find is that they decided to keep both main characters alive at the end so that there could be a second season. But if that's the case they should have developed certain events in a different way. But overall, it was a great ride and a truly worth watch. Congratulations to the team. Great work.

EXCELLENT SURPRISE. GREAT ACTING AND WONDERFUL FRIENDSHIP
ACA1320 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I would have rated 9 if the story about Miguel and Carol was believable. They acted like 2 horny teenagers ....

One reviewer believes that Sastre got his pub by extorsion, I don't believe so. Sastre would never harm a person from his hood. I think the people behind buying was the evil El Chaterro and that is why Sastre threatened him.

It is possible that Miguel was following Sastre's tail and helped rescuing him. I am glad that he survived!

Recommend and I hope for a second season!

Very Nice Surprise

A nice story that slowly builds to a rousing conclusion.

The story takes some surprising turns, always maintaining consistentcy with the story and characters. I often found myself saying 'wow, that was a surprised, but that makes sense'.
