The episodes get better as they progress, due to Peters' presence, and Bentley's performance. Kathy Bates is a bit too sentimental in the series, it gets annoying. Gaga is still in her music video mode and does not do much but dress in flashy fashion and indulge herself. Her story arc is the least interesting. Bentley's ever troubled look, with his character's impending divorce makes you truly care for his trouble. He is almost like Dermot McDylan's character in the first season. His story arc is the best. Matt Bomer's arc with Lady Gaga seems uninteresting, but there is promise of a better story as Angela Basset enters the screen as a former lover and now rival to Gaga's character. Of all the cast, Basset has the strongest screen presence since her characters are always interesting and badass. Oh wait, did I forget Sarah Paulson? Well if I did, that is because her character seems to have no bearing to the story yet, though she does put her best effort in the character. But it is hard to make a character interesting when you don't have much material to handle.

Countess Gaga

Not as good as the 2nd episode but I'm at that stage where I am so into it that I really can't wait to see what else they have planned with this show.
Finally got to see a bit more of Denis O'Hare who I feel is not in this a lot at all. I think the character he portrays in this season is one of my favorites. Definitely feel bad about our detective who has now even more on his plate.
Interesting to see about the relationship between Kathy Bates' character and her son Donovan and my favorite moment must be when they introduced a new character.
For those who are not a fan of Gaga: I love her in this show and I think she is perfect for the role of countess.

Warning: Spoilers
(S5. E3) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 5 Episode 3 ''Mommy''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 8.5/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Is Holden at the hotel? If yes, the question is why and how? Glad to see that Angela Bassett is part of the show. Donovan really hates his mother, that's sad. John and his wife are about to get a divorce? That sucks. The countess wants to marry Will to get all his money? That's evil, I like it. Alex found Holden? I didn't see that coming. Iris wants to kill herself? No please, I like the character. So Ramona and the Countess are enemies? Interesting. Overall this episode was good, my rating is 9/10.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with Tristan, he has a conversation with James March. Claudia got killed in her bed. It gets clear that Iris is Donovan his mother. Will got ubducted by Ramona. Alex gave the divorce papers to John, they are going to divorce. Alex sees Holden. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 5, a average episode this time. Some blood but not the level of the first 2 episodes.
