- Michaela travels to East Sussex to visit The Mermaid Inn, Rye. One of the oldest and reputedly most haunted inns in Britain. Then it is off to Michelham Priory in Hailsham, the site of 100s of reported ghost sightings.
- The port of Rye, East Sussex is a charming, historical town but it was once the haunt of highwaymen and smugglers. Many of these would have stayed at The Mermaid Inn. Owner Judith Blincow takes Michaela Strachan on a guided tour round the inn, detailing some of the ghostly experiences encountered by staff and guests. Town Heritage Officer Peter Cosstick relates the history of the inn and its associations with the notorious Hawkhurst gang. Michaela then meets with local historian Ted Emson for a guided tour of the Old Town Gaol where ghostly children and a malign presence have been sensed. In the second part of the show Michaela visits Michelham Priory near Hailsham. Originally founded as an Augustinian priory but converted into a private house. Guide Roy Le Croisette tells of the little girl he has seen in the Prior's room and spectral cook he has seen in the kitchen. Paranormal Investigator Clint Davey and caretaker/manager Chris Tuckett also relate their experiences including a ghostly dog, phantom Canadian airman and moving furniture.—Mark_a_Wood <markawood@hotmail.co.uk>
