Sex & Nudity

  • In one scene a female corpse is seen with ripped clothing, revealing some partial skin.
  • Nothing is detailed or too over the top
  • The devolopers had to delete certain sexual violence content to maintain a M rating instead of an "Adults Only" rating. Even though the really graphic content was deleted, the game still contains references to rape and sexual violence against minors.
  • Lynn gives birth at the end of the game, not too graphic.
  • During the course of the game, the player will encounter half-naked enemies.
  • Pairs of indistinct figures are seen in various sexual positions and engaging in sex, but the level of detail is low due to the blurry vision and the general darkness of the scene.
  • Overall, the portrayal of sexual activity with some nudity, both topless and frontal, is depicted, albeit not detailed.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence in this game is very similar to 'Resident evil biohazard/village' both fairly violent games.
  • As gory as the game is, mature teens should be able to handle it.
  • Violence is inflicted on the player-character by the antagonists in the game, which consist of supernatural creatures as well as human enemies such as crazed cultists and guards.
  • The sides of the screen are stained with blood when the player takes damage.
  • The player will also come across locations bloodied with disemboweled carcasses and corpses; and scenes showing enemies inflicting violence on other human characters.

Profanity

  • Father Knoth uses various mild language terms
  • One character insults another character, calling them names, not too bad
  • The first 10 minutes of gameplay contains multiple uses of "fuck" and "shit."
  • The game contains the use of coarse language, with frequent utterances of the expletive "f**k", as well as the stronger expletive "motherf**ker".
  • Overall, frequent uses of strong coarse language such as 'motherf**ker' are present in-game.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The game contains juxtaposition of religious elements such as cult activities, satanism, atheism, and catholicism themes including self divinity.
  • There's multiple dead gutted animals throughout the game. While they're very missable, they might be a little disturbing
  • Just like the first game , this is easily one of the scariest games ever made
  • This videogame is so horrific and terrifying that the devolopers stated that they wouldn't release it unless they themselves were afraid to play it.
  • Trapped either in an asylum or an abandoned house, they must survive the supernatural creatures and human aggressors hunting them while piecing together clues, and ultimately escape to safety.
  • Played from a first person perspective, the player will control the protagonists to explore surroundings and find clues to shed light on the supernatural events occurring around them.
  • Since the player cannot initiate combat to fight the threats that face him, he must find ways around these hazards by sneaking or hiding in strategic spots.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Val licks the player's face multiple times.
  • It's strongly implied that Loutermilch has sexually assaulted and abused Jessica.
  • In one of the cinematics, the player is forced to observe a ritualistic orgy. There are only a few people engaged in sexual acts, but they are difficult to see due to them being far enough away and the camera moving and becoming blurry. One of them, a female gets onto the protagonist and says they have "so much pleasure to share with you" and a brief second of her thrusting on Blake is shown followed by a transition back to the school. The act of the protagonist being sexually abused is only implied and not shown.

Violence & Gore

  • A sequence in the game has the player come across a pit full of dead sacrificed children. The player is forced to walk over the deceased accompanied with loud crunching noises.
  • Throughout the game, it's implied Loutermilch assaults Jessica, physically and sexually. Later, he pushes her down the stairs, which kills her. He then hangs her dead body and frames her death as a suicide. This is not all onscreen.
  • Marta is responsible for most of this games' gore. She kills you by using a pickaxe to slice Blake's middle, followed by a slice to the head. Later in the game, she's killed when she's impaled through the back by a large metal cross.
  • Some of the stronger scenes show a cultist torturing a woman on a rack, a person being crucified and nailed to a cross as well as a character slitting his own throat.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • in a segment of the game, the antagonist "Val" blows a mysterious powder on the player's face, causing him to become distorted and pass out

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The games focus is running from satanic demonic cults that try to sacrifice and kill you for their rituals. Throughout the game, you find remains of children and adults that have been sacrificed. This game is not recommended for Christian households.
  • The intense cult activities and biblical citations and depictions littered throughout this game can be disturbing and controversial for households under the Christian faith.
  • There are unused audio files of the exact moment that Loutermilch rapes Jessica. Very distressing to listen to.
