Painful. By itself, low-budget is never automatically the kiss of death for me, but bad acting, bad writing and essentially zero redeeming qualities certainly is. "Award-winning"? Which award was that? Mommy's Favorite Big-Boy Director in the Whole Wide World"? The consolation prize for an eighth grade film-elective final project?
