CANVAS OF DEATH is a really, really bad horror film with one of the lowest budgets I've ever seen. The story is about a painter who is in actuality a supernatural being (even though he looks like a normal guy - the budget is too low for special effects of any kind) who must kill a bunch of people once a year in order to escape being sent to Hell.
The story is set in a summer house and consists of a group of people with zero characterisation being murdered one by one by our anti-hero. There's no more plotting to it than that, and no discernible production values either. The whole thing is a vapid waste of time, and the only surprise is that an hour can feel so very, very long.
