The USS Daniel Webster was a Cold War era Lafayette-class ballistic missile submarine (SSBN626). She was launched in 1963, commissioned in 1964 and decommissioned in 1990. She's currently serving as a moored training ship and re-designated as MTS-626 at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston near Charleston, SC. She was the only ship in the US Navy to be named after Senator Daniel Webster.
