The vampire outbreak has infected other cities in the USA and other continents. Eph and Dutch capture a vampire in Prospect Park and bring him to Fet´s house as a guinea pig for new experiments trying to disrupt their communication system. He studies his nervous system and accidentally leans that it is affected by microwave when Dutch turns the apparatus on to heat water. Fet puts sensors in two vampires to track them and know where they are going. Setrakian and Quinlan read the Occido Lumen expecting to find a clue to destroy the crimson worm. Setrakian recalls his quest for Mr. Kruger in 1972 in Amsterdam. Then he discover a hidden message on the page of the original book that is protected from the vampires. Fet finds the vampire nest with thousands of vampires below the Central Park. Then he tells Justine and Frank at the command center. Setrakian seeks alliance with a former enemy.
