Confinement has a touch of The Thing-style paranoia about it, which makes it a little different from previous episodes. Demon Baal has entered our realm and is able wear the skin of various humans (which leads to some nice and juicy flaying effects). Locked in a police station, Ash, Pablo, Kelly, Ruby, Chet, Sheriff Thomas Emery and his family, and tranny prostitute Joanie try and figure out who is the demon.
Those looking for some splattery fun won't be disappointed though: eventually, the proverbial hits the fan when Baal makes his appearance and a skinless demon attacks our heroes. Joanie gets her arm ripped off and throat gashed (blood pumping out of the wound), Ruby blows the skinless monster's head off with the boom-stick, and Ash makes sure it is dead by sawing it vertically in half.
As usual, the practical effects are great (and very messy), but the impressive 'loose fitting skin' CGI is also worthy of a mention.
