11.22.63 - Episode five Continuing my marathon and this episode was interesting. I don't like talking about script facilitators, but in this episode there were, right? The Past only gets in the way of the objective when it suits. The Doctor from Grey's Anatomy was killed without the Past intervening and when it is JFK's direct objective, then the past gets in the way. I don't remember if the Past got in the way in the case of the caretaker in the Present who had his family murdered as a child. I remember it was when the crazy guy met Franco, I don't know if that could be considered a hindrance. I saw that the guy who appears to be the personification of the Past, who put Franco's crush on to see that Franco hears people speaking Russian, but I don't know if that triggered Doctor George to go to his crush's house (I don't think so). Episode five watched on March 15, 2024.

Warning: Spoilers
11.22.63 (2016) Series 1st Season Episode Five - The Truth

Great episode, I loved everything that involved the trio there in that house, as much as I didn't like the Grey's Anatomy character, I liked his outcome.

There are times when I see Bill and remember the character who shot Bruce Willis' character in The Sixth Sense, but that's Mark Wahlberg's brother.

It's cool that in the second episode an actor who participated in Orphan Black appeared and in this episode another appeared, then Tatiana Maslany appears with another clone.

I don't see James Franco's character as destroyed as Bill is, I don't know if Franco is acting badly or it wasn't supposed to appear that he was bad in the script.

Could it be that the beggar is another time traveler, who went back in time so many times that he got stuck and went crazy?

Episode five of the first season of the Miniseries 11.22.63 watched on May 16, 2024.

Rating: 10/10.

Went down hill fast

Warning: Spoilers
With this episode this series lost all credibility for me.

It's one thing to go along with the time travel aspect. But in this episode, Jake chooses to sit around in a hospital waiting room (when there was nothing he could have done to help with that situation) and he abandons the plan, which was the only reason he went back in time to begin with!

When his girlfriend buys his "from the future" story without any question is also troubling.

Daniel Webber's American accent is a joke! He fades in and out of his native tongue. I don't understand why he was cast in the first place.

Just too many weak links caused me to lose interest. A 6 part series would have made more sense.

How events turned into this naive! The script was going right The romantic side was very primitive and uninspiring! So sad about the turn of the story!
