I really enjoy this show, but this post is not so much a review as a comment. I was sitting here in Wisconsin watching episode 4. Near the beginning they pulled into the parking lot of a mall, and I saw the entrance and said, "Hey, I know that mall. That's Woodbine." Now I haven't been to Woodbine in 25 years, and I don't know where this show is filmed. So I go on watching, and sure enough, they go inside and there is the carousel and other rides that I took my children to all those years ago and I'm getting excited. I got out the computer and came to this site and checked and sure enough, it is filmed in Toronto, and it was the Woodbine Mall. I just love seeing little pieces of home that I recognize.

I gave this show a chance like I do every TV show but again NBC steps in and does what it always does. First I do like the concept of the show since it really doesn't copy the Movie outline with just one man doing the rescue. So for that I give it props but some of the scenes is just not watchable. Killing 5 trained ex military without having his gun and using electrocution and fire as his weapons is just corny. But now lets get to my most pet peeved of NBC shows. Can we stop with the biracial love affairs on every show. The mostly Black on White relationship is beyond going too far. We don't see the more common relationship between Spanish and White and never White and Asian. Shows like this and Blindspot, Chicago Fire, The defunct Aquarius, and Timeless are only a few. It is an insult to the black race that they can't have a normal relationship between a man and a woman. I read many articles on how black woman feel demeaned by this and it doesn't stop on this network. Give it up NBC. BY THE WAY NBC YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY NETWORK DOING THIS. ABC and now the leader in the group Fox is just pushing it and pushing it. Obama is gone so can we go back to normal.

Worst episode so far

I knew this series was going to be cornily "commercial", but this episode is so bad. It's not only the general unbelievable chain of events always working in favour of the lead character, but, in this case, it's also the horrible acting of the father and of the daughter. It is below amateurs theatre. How could this episode get 8.1 on the IMDb scale? It's not like the Game of Thrones or something!
