Lea deserved a better film !
zhukovaevgenia27 June 2016
The Feature Biographical films are quite a difficult task for their authors. Especially for audience that still remembers the hero. In this case the legend of Bulgaria's pop music Lea Ivanova. The great lady of the 60 is and even 70 ties. She was so popular that Romanian record companies in Backrest were recording first her songs. Lea might be a retro personality but still youngsters nowadays have developed a chain of sharing her precious records. Lea is legendary as a singer as well as the rebel against the regime. Lea was the one disobeying orders. At most courageous enough and daring to fight for her music and her audience. And for sure she was suppressed by the communist regulations. But nothing of the Great lady of Bulgarian pop music is in this movie. Probably ashamed of their weakness feeling their mediocrity they don't have the film at her name as most of Bio pic are named at the person they are dedicated to. Failure to depict the still beloved Lea. She lives on in the hearts of her fans 30 years after her death but this film for sure will be a short term moth. She will never be forgotten while this film for sure will soon be.
