Absolutely dismal. It's creepy and uncomfortable to watch. Littered with 'precocious' stage-trained kids with false smiles and plastic personalities. It has all the nastiness of a children's beauty pageant. It's a horrible idea, badly executed. A real train-wreck. The show used to be about extraordinary, talented, exciting dancers and wonderful choreography. It used to amaze and delight, I looked forward to each season. All the 'next generation' does is leave me slightly creeped-out and VERY VERY disappointed.Please please please bring back the adult competitors, guest judges, and range of wonderful choreographers. But you can leave the Bollywood and tap numbers on the cutting room floor.
