Episode One - Part One

It's been a while since I watched something in the original language, I believe this was the first series I watched with subtitles on this profile, if I'm not mistaken this is the nineteenth series I've watched.

I tried to watch it dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese but it didn't work, what a horrible dubbing, it looks like those Brazilian dubs of Japanese cartoons that are made in Miami and would be better if they were made by silent people (all due respect to the silent ones).

Anyway, I watched it in the original language, and I thought the story was very good and interesting.

Very heavy, the ship part and then her father taking advantage of her.

I'm already hoping that she's innocent and that this doctor really wants to help her.

A Series Worth Watching

Although this series is purportedly based upon a true story, it is a very loose adaptation of that story. Nevertheless, the series will probably keep you watching once you get started with episode one because even if it were total fiction, it is entertaining, captivating, and thought provoking. The dialogue as written is excellent as is the acting. As the series neared the ending, I kept thinking that somehow the writer or director would mess up the story with some kind of odd plot device; that did not happen. The final story held together well and concluded in a manner consistent with the previous story elements and propositions. This series turned out to be one of the best I have seen, and at some point I will probably watch it again.
