The second episode of season four of "The Last Ship", "The Pillars of Hercules" can be divided into two blocks: Nathan James' adventures in the Mediterranean sea and Chandler's search for a purpose in life. The first one, even if silly, delivers. The second, sadly, no.
The Nathan James is on a cruise when it encounters some problems. Cue the crew trying to survive a dangerous threat. It is all very silly, with a couple of head-scratching plot developments, but the action is good enough, and it is engaging and fun. You will be able to forgive its problems.
Chandler losing his shirt... Well, not so much. Chandler, for unknown reasons, decides to join the bad guy and his mafia and go around punching people in silly punch fights. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and, on top of that, the bad guys are the kind that kill their own people just because. You will expect a cat to make an appearance at any moment. Of course, we know it is all an excuse so Chandler can get back to his ship, but it stretches reality to its breaking point.
It all ends up being entertaining enough (never actually 'good'), but close to jumping the shark.
