Residents in Sfantu Gheorghe, a fishing village for centuries from the Danube Delta, live a number of socio-economic changes, especially in 1991 when it was founded Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO space. Based on a doctoral thesis in anthropology that examines the effects of environmental policies on tourism and local culture, the film seeks to discover the daily life of fishermen and their families. Viewed from the personal perspective of the director, it trying to deconstruct stereotypes of the vehicle (natural paradise, pelicans, water lilies and lipoveni) to see, understand and accept the final fisherman culture of those who live and fight for survival among Danube Delta arias.
