Screamography: Bob Clark (2006)
Director Bob Clark had one of the most fascinating careers in Hollywood history and this interview has him discussing some of his most popular works. He starts off talking about his two Miami based films that started his career and then we get into the horror movies with CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS, DEATHDREAM, BLACK Christmas and MURDER BY DECREE. From here Clark gets into some of his other movies like PORKY'S, BREAKING POINT and A Christmas STORY.
Fans of Clark will really enjoy this interview, which was recorded about a year before his tragic death. There are a wide range of topics discussed here but the stuff dealing with the horror films is a lot of fun and especially since Clark is open about some of the people and filmed that ripped his off. There's some great stories told about his other two breakthrough hits (PORKY'S and A Christmas STORY) as well as the remake of BLACK Christmas. THere's a lot of really good stuff here and this is certainly one of the most detailed interviews out there with the director.
