It's no secret that I have awaited Roy Harper's return to Arrow for a long time, and while this episode brought Colton Haynes's character back, it was underwhelming and a little downplayed for the most part. It was Willa Holland's Speedy that got the bigger spotlight this time around, which thanks to the actress's unmatched charisma, succeeded in the end. What was a true pleasure to watch, was Kirk Acevedo finally putting his raspy voice and killer fight moves on full display, all while showcasing the true threat he means to Star City. The drama between Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) was palpable and made complete sense. Canary was made a tad likeable and the Outsiders group was ignored thankfully. Seeing Roy and Thea back together again was also a treat that elevated this episode and the two minor twists at the end of it all where shocking. Couple that with impressive and brutal fight scenes, Arrow seems to be on track for now.
