We Don't Have To Have Answers
Wonderful documentary about a Zen Buddhist Priest whose life's work is to help those who are struggling with depression and suicide all the while he struggles himself.

Very touching story with no answers.

How can sadness be so beautiful?

A Buddhist monk (who answered an ad in a newspaper - monk wanted) helps people with depression and suicidal tendencies. I can hear you thinking, errr no thanks. But wait, this is a beautiful meditation on life and what is most important to us. if you're like me, you'll leave this film a richer person.

Festival audience just sat holding breath

So beautiful every way. Apparent simpatico between director and cinematographer (lovely!), director and editor (graceful!), director and composer (subtle!), a wonderful example of the collective spirit in film. Strange that IMDb lists so few contributors to this high quality production. From Adelaide, South Australia, I'd like to write to congratulate the funding bodies: your film will be appreciated for years to come. When it comes to release time, be sure to take it slowly and let the word spread. Thanks to all involved!
