I rate this film very highly because of how the movie is crafted. It tells a tale of two teenage best friend in the mid 1980s and how the girl makes them turn on each other but years later in the first gulf war along with other men it becomes a survival movie. I love the romantic, adventure aspects of the movie, although it appears quite low budget, there is enough intrigue throughout the film.

Good story

The best part of this film are the characters. A crisis brings the best and worse in people. I get the story completely, its a story about brothers in arms in a life and death situation.

This film has a nice story with the twists and turns. It does appear low budget, but it is something different. I must say I kind of expected more action but the idea of America at war with itself was a good surprise. The actors are unknown it appears but who cares. This is a hidden gem. The story of close friendship of men comes to the test. It does not promote America ideals, but he does deal with people in a crisis especially young people. Why I love this film it does not try to sugar coat anything just tells the story. So, this is a movie that I recommend. It is a love story and war story.

If you're looking for a great use of your time then Thirst/Desert Storm is the way to go. I recently watched this movie and to put it plainly, it was like watching a Lion Run. A totally Interesting experience.

Directed by Kevin Singh and starring Monré Aucamp, Maxine Classen and Gerald Copeland, Thirst/Desert Storm told a completely Beautiful story.

Thirst/Desert Storm is a War/Survival movie about characters who embark on a journey of Faith and deception. Despite the obstacles, big and small, the characters in the movie, as well as the viewers, still meet a great end. The performances from Monré Aucamp, Maxine Classen and Gerald Copeland illustrate the narrative of this movie with such a viable effort. Consequently, this film ended up being as Captivating as it is.

Thirst/Desert Storm intertwined visuals, audio, and plot in a very Interesting way.

It was as if Kevin Singh combined the characters, the setting, and the valued objects within the film and then threw them into a mixing bowl to create a giant serving of great Taco. As a viewer, chewing and pondering on the quality of my Taco, I couldn't help but think about how sweet it tasted. The flavors of the film blended so great-ly that I considered getting a dog for emotional support!

This story of Faith, deception is a triumphant effort on Kevin Singh's part in making viewers weep with joy.

Overall, I found Thirst/Desert Storm to be Interesting, Beautiful, and Captivating! It is a great plate of Taco, seasoned with the theme of Faith, deception, and sure to leave you with a lingering sweet taste in your mouth.

Strong tale. Fresh characters and unpredictable. Different but refreshingly good. Not a lot of movies about desert storm this one has more depth. Good viewing.

A good movie

Yes I would have to say that this movie works. Based in how it was shot it appears very low budget but it has a exciting story a survival movie. It has brothers in arms but with desperation kicking in how moral are the soldiers. Its a honest appraisal what could have happened during the gulf war. Now I see there are a lot of negative views. Guys you understand how hard it is to make a movie these guys were trying to tell a story with very little money but yet even movies with a bigger budget are bad but there is an underlying sad element in this movie. I am not a movie guy but yes I enjoyed this movie. Full stop.

This is movie is so much fun. The 80's was a time of cold war. Reagan and some really cool movies. The movie starts out like a old fashioned 80's boy meet girl. New girl in town comes between them. What I like about the movie is the characters are not one dimensional. They all have their own inner demons. We all have good and bad in use. The dialogue seems authentic. I was very young when the gulf war started so I don't know much about it and they are not a lot of movies about it, but this is also a different take on it a survival story. Good story, good directing. Try this one for something different.

A fantastic film, love the ending and the characters. The love triangle reminded me of film like twilight but it was more unique. I appreciate how it realistically shows members of the US military and I highly recommend it.
