Often sitcoms can make the subject of alcoholism distant and preachy, and resorts to stereotypes. This show always puts a realistic face to the disease and how if affects families. This is a particularly heartbreaking episode of the power of sobriety and the process working though the pain. Allison Janney has the best comedic timing and Ana Farris is an equally charming challenge to her. They act so effortlessly.

I have Reviewed OVER 500 "Christmas Films and Television Specials". Please BEWARE Of films and specials with just one review! For instance When "It's a POSITIVE" chances are that the reviewer was involved with the production. "If its Negative" then they may have a grudge against the film for whatever reason. I am fare about these films. I am on a mission to watch every Christmas Movie ever made. Since 2014 I average 100 a year.
This episode has good laughs and a minor message of forgiveness. I n this episode Bonnie & Christie are robbed. With Christie Mid-Term is on the lap top and will fail if she doesn't retrieve it. Later she finds it for sale on Craig's List.
